BI Publisher 11g Training – Data Models
The ability to build from scratch or adjust existing BI Publisher data models is a necessary skill for any organisation wishing to create “pixel-perfect reports” using BI Publisher. A sound data model allows you to combine data from multiple sources, restrict data according to an organisational hierarchy and create reports based on user selected parameters.
This hands-on courses teaches you to create a Data Model upon which BI Publisher Reports are created. Using sample employee data from OBIEE combined with HR data directly from the database and XML, along with qualitative comments from Excel spreadsheets, you learn how to combine data from multiple sources and create a solid data model according to best practices.
